BeeWell Jordan Essentials – Tina Lay
This next installment highlights my cousin, Tina. Born a year after me, she and I have very similar familial features. We were steady pen pals back in the late 70’s and early 80’s. You know, writing letters? 🙂 We drew pictures for each other and shared all about school and the boys we liked. Gosh, what ever happened to those letters? Anyway, handwriting then took on the trend of short and fat. Our generation was fixated on perfecting it and if I remember correctly, we called it Bubble Letters. Our teachers hated it but we didn’t care. We liked that look and changed the approved, classical look.
Tina and I are from a fairly big Catholic family with many veterans. Our mothers are sisters and my mother is her God Mother. We only saw each other in person at reunions. It was always great fun to see her and spend time with all our cousins as we played, hung out, danced, and just got to be goofy kids. Tina loves animals, Heavy Metal, Autumn, and Halloween. She is a mom of three and highly educated in science starting her work career as a vet tech. She even went back to school to become a skilled nurse!
