Stalled Process and Volunteering
my light project hit a major snag. i need to research electrical currents more. so, while i am preparing for my art show, i need to reconfigure my strategy and what in the heck i am going to do. i need to get on it…i have under 2 weeks.
T has been volunteering for a few years at Volunteers of America with their “Project Warmth”. She knits adorable hats and blankets from donated yarn to help people keep warm in those cold Colorado winters. I am so proud of her!
The Burn Foundation
hi everybody! this summer has been very busy with wholesale orders and a road trip to Lake Tahoe, visits from family, and prepping our cute house for a new paint job.
my dear friend vanessa, who helped me start Dos Chicas has been featured in a calendar! it’s a fundraiser for the burn foundation. the guys, and the ladies, all look pretty hot and they should…they are firefighters! i went to their “fashion” show in Seattle and it was insane, in a good way. lots of women screaming and waiting for the chance to meet their favorite. click on the link to the website to purchase a 2008 calendar to support burn survivors. i have my very own signed copy!
Workshop update
good afternoon…i have several prototypes and projects going on right now. i always work this way…3 or 4 things going at the same time, so i don’t get bored. 🙂 i’m thinking about little lights and miniatures and that is all i’m going to tell you! this is just a teaser to keep you in suspense a little…come back to read updates. they are coming along very nicely.
