Out of the blue one day, I received a lovely email from someone that bought an original piece of art from me a long time ago. It was so unexpected and a boost I didn’t know I needed. She gave me permission to share about it but I keep her identity secret out of respect.
Hello Angela ~ I acquired your magical piece ‘I Hide Sometimes’ from the girls backyard series, many years ago. Immediately upon seeing it I felt my childhood was in front of me depicted in lovely art. On impulse today I took it out of its frame (temporarily) to see if the full artist’s name would be on the back and it was! Then I found you online and am delighted to see you are still making art as well as being a biologist! I wanted you to know how much I treasure ‘I Hide Sometimes’. It lives in a frame but I photographed it out of frame to do away with glass reflection. Thank You 💖
